Dark brown hair parted down the middle or spiky on club nights with a scruffy beard, bushy brow and big ears like a Scottish farmboy. His smile is infectious, and his swagger is arousing. A compact package of muscle who is as sexy in button up shirts and jeans as in military gear or chaps. His tribal tattoos accentuate his perfect form. It also made me smile at times, like when you talked about Homer having his own place at the family table. And it moved me when you recalled how he would comfort your father the best way he could.

I come from a family of cat lovers (or anything with four legs, wings and/or fins from birds to spiders). As my mom always say: “you don’t own a cat, the cat owns you.” And I know how after so many years, those little fellows become a member of the family, whose personality, tastes and habits (infuriating or otherwise) must be considered as much as anyone else’s in the household. When I lost the cat I had had from age 11 to 27, it was literally like losing a member of the family.

My deepest sympathy to you and MaH, Johnny. Homer must have been one lucky cat, to have enjoyed such a long life in such a loving family.

I saw you last night at the cafe next to the church. Out of deep respect for those who want their private time to stay private, I didn’t dare say hello.

I just wanted to say it was a bit of a thrill to see you in person and admire you from afar. Hope you had a nice evening.

Mom of course thinks I am too odd for a woman of my age, and should grow out of my bohemian stage already. I am sure you remember how off my mom can be sometimes. And then there is her current obsession of lamenting your sexual orientation. The random “he was always such a cutie” or ” he grew up so hot” is kinda creepy. But it just shows that even 49 year old women who have known you since you were a preteen are fans of the magic that is you.

I bet Boy Wonder cracks up laughing when he reads that.

I must say I am really digging how Boy Wonder mocked you here. I so want to meet him now. Haha see I am not the only one who thinks you have all the luck. As only a diva could. One day you must bring BW to Cleveland and we will get together and have drinks! And I will tell embarrassing stories, like about that one time that your dog ate my baby chickens.

My pilates teacher is popular and her classes overbooked. Half her students walk in late, expecting the best seats in the house, forcing those of us who come in 15 minutes early to shove over. With this, you end up too close to another person and unable to correctly do many of the positions.

I thought of complaining to the manager, but what’s he going to do? Pay his instructor more for another class? Not likely. I did however move to a corner spot where I only have to worry about being crowded on two sides instead of four. It’s worked so far!
