I feel your pain. I was a victim of theft from my luggage during a trip to Louisville. In short it took countless hours and letters and 6 mo to recover a monetary compensation for an item that was worth $230. It was a matter of principle! There’s little incentive for employed lifers to provide good service. I doubt they even receive cost of living salary increases, so in their minds, why make the effort. College kids on the other hand, still have some level of hope left, or at least competitive edge.

Wow you lucked out! But you were in the right to maintain your composure with the customer service agents. As a former flight attendant I know first hand that maintaining decorum with them will usually get you further. Trust me,it was no easier for me being a non-revenue, standby employee to get any special treatment whilst trying to get on a flight. Bribery with candy & compliments can work wonders tho!!!

Looks aren’t really that important, it’s what’s inside them that counts?

Dark brown hair parted down the middle or spiky on club nights with a scruffy beard, bushy brow and big ears like a Scottish farmboy. His smile is infectious, and his swagger is arousing. Easy! Nothing could be tougher. How does a mere bystander come up with words that a) don’t offend you, b) capture your essence, and c) convey the really important facts to someone who’s lost his sight?

My stab at it is…
-elegant, chiseled face
-strong brown eyes that smile more often than the mouth does
-long, strong neck, muscles rising like branches from wide, sculpted shoulders and chest
-beautiful, strong hands, graceful in motion, completing elegantly tattooed arms
-smooth, powerful chest and abs, decorated with more elegant tattoos
-defined, graceful legs with big, clomping feet

I’ll leave your butt alone (that came out wrong, but I don’t know how to fix it, you know what I mean).

Anyway. It’s not an easy task! I think, rereading that description above, that it sounds fawning and drooly…what it would sound like coming from you, about yourself…!

I’m so sorry to hear about your Homer. You are fortunate to have had him for so many years. That’s wonderful. Sounds like he was a terrific companion and quite the cat. I lost one of my cats a few weeks ago and still miss him terribly. They do become part of the family. My housecat now is 5 and I can see his black silouette as I type this note. What joy they bring. Good eye Rita! Chris must have seen a promo shot from Bolt. I had, as a joke and forgot about it when shooting, taken a blue contact and put it in one eye. No one noticed until after the shoot.
