Come And Get It
Posted by Boy Wonder
The time has come - Johnny’s Spellbound video clip is now available for download at the Shop. I was going to try and work out an automatic retrieval system, but have been too busy working on the NEXT dance clip. That’s right, soon we will be You Tubing our asses off again. And this time it’s serious. ![]()

I would absolutely love seeing Johnny writhing about to The Divinyls hit “I Touch Myself” or perhaps even a little Marilyn Manson!
That could happen!
Robert, once again you demonstrate impeccable taste - confirming once again that repression is awful for the individual but excellent for art. (I didn’t say that. Anne Clark did back in the eighties. But I’d much rather have Johnny dancing on The Divinyls than on Anne Clark.)
Dance, Johnny, Dance! What a joy to see you fully enjoying the spirit of life. Some see a sexy toy - I see a divine reflection of all things good and alive. Thanks, precious boy…
Frog, repression may spawn creativity but life in Tennessee also makes for a very dull boy. After all, I cannot believe a song, which celebrates the fine art of self-gratification, has evaded me for so long. Once, again, that particular Divinyls hit was practically made for Johnny’s moves!
“I close my eyes
And see you before me…”
Or maybe they just read your mind?
Frog, you left out some of the best parts!!! “…Think I would die if you were to ignore me. A fool could see just how much I adore you. I’d get down on my knees; I’d do anything for you.” Again, it’s such a great song! However, I am fond of the Eve 6 interpretation. That version is more rock ‘n’ roll which is right up my alley (and the drummer is quite striking. Too bad this band dissolved back in 04.). On another note, I think Boy Wonder should step in front of the camera lens and show us how he moves!
